Housing Improvements Programme Four Year Framework

The framework is a large capital investment of approximately £40m/annum, a total of £160m carried out over a four year period and to comply with the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) and the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS).  A major role in enhancing the quality of life of the Council’s housing tenants by improving the energy efficiency of the housing stock and reducing fuel poverty in Aberdeenshire.

An ambitious project requiring high performance adhering to Client’s Key Performance Indicators designed to support a collective approach to “right first time” concept

Site Surveys co-ordinated and carried out within one visit to each property providing:

  • Detailed scope of works and access arrangements
  • Estimated duration of the works on site
  • Details of any local exhibition to be held
  • Choices of products available to tenants

Design – Kitchen 3D design drawn up by our in-house CAD Team and presented to the tenant 21 days before works commence on site

Tenant Liaison Officer carries out an initial home visit to gain an understanding of tenant’s needs and provides support to the tenants throughout the works, particularly any vulnerable customers, to make sure that needs or concerns are resolved.

Skilled Trades persons carry out strip out works undertaken ready for the new installation and fit out ensuring uninterrupted services to ensure properties are habitable and fully serviced.

Thereafter new fit out works carried out in accordance with the agreed design ensuring minimal disruption to the tenants

Customer Care Training ensures all personnel are polite, presentable, attentive and reliable.

Tenant Satisfaction Survey and Quality Inspection is carried out to ensure all works meet the tenant’s expectation
